Recently Baosteel Co., Ltd. supplied TMCP ship plate in batches to STX Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. Korea. It symbolizes that not only Baosteel Co., Ltd.'s 4.2m heavy plate mill possesses the batch production capacity for TMCP ship plate, but the products have entered the high-end market for ship building steel in the world.

As the core technology in the field of heavy plate production, TMCP process is the most state-of-the-art process in current production of ship plate. It can replace the conventional heat treatment process, and lower the content of alloy and production cost while ensuring the product quality, so that the customer's application efficiency can be increased.
