Moss Point steel fabrication company sold

A Moss Point steel and pipe fabrication company has been sold to Atlantic Marine Holding Co., which operates shipyards in Alabama and Florida.
Millennium Industrial and Marine Solutions specializes in onsite drill rig and off shore vessel repair and conversion.
Atlantic Marine has 800 workers at its Mobile, Ala., shipyard and 1,000 at two others near Jacksonville, Fla. Millennium employs about 52 workers.
The business will now operate as Atlantic Marine Millennium.
Officials say the acquisition will Millennium's customers with access to Atlantic Marine's shore side facilities.
