Sama Resources Discovers New Zone of 1.93% Nickel-Copper and 1.6 GPT PGE Over 9 Metres at the Samapleu Project in Cote d'Ivoire

Sama Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SME) is pleased to announce the assay results for the "Discovery Hole" at our newly discovered poly-metallic mineralized complex called Samapleu Extension 1 ("SM Extension 1"). This is an entirely new zone located 1.3 kilometres ("km") northeast of the poly-metallic Samapleu main deposit located within the exploration license PR 123 (the "Project"), in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa. The Discovery Hole, SM24-661614, returned a total of 109 metres ("m") of material enriched with disseminated and semi-massive sulphide mineralization. The mineralization includes 9.0m of semi-massive sulphide material grading 1.00% Nickel ("Ni"), 0.93% Copper ("Cu"), 0.05% Cobalt ("Co"), 1.5 g/t Palladium ("Pd"), 0.10 g/t Platinum ("Pt") and 0.08 g/t of Gold ("Au"). The new discovery is the first hole into the core of a geophysical anomaly. The mineralized complex cross-cut our exploration grid over 1.5 km and is open toward the southwest, the northeast and at depth. The potential of the area is considerably enhanced.

Combined with the Sipilou South Ni-Co laterite deposit, these poly-metallic mineralized complexes will give the Company and its partner, Societe pour le Developpement Minier de Cote d'Ivoire ("SODEMI") the opportunity to become the first poly-metallic producer in West Africa," stated Dr. Marc-Antoine Audet, President and CEO of the Company.

An additional intersection of 5.35 m of highly disseminated material is grading 0.53% Ni, 0.39% Cu, 0.03% Co, 0.95 g/t Pd, 0.11 g/t Pt and 0.04 g/t Au. The Company is focused at delineating and increasing the potential resources of the Samapleu poly-metallic project with continuous drilling re-starting in September at the Samapleu Main deposit and at SM Extension 1.

Table 1 shows the mineralized intersections of the Discovery Hole at the newly discovered SM Extension 1 mineralized complex. True widths for these mineralized intersections are not known at this moment. However, according to the Company's geological model, these holes were planned to intersect the mafic host as perpendicular as possible to the general strike and dip.

SM Extension 1, together with the recently intersected mafic complex called the "SM Extension 2" zone, form two parallel sectors several km long and 500 m apart from each other. These two newly discovered complexes increase the potential of the Project by adding several km of prospective ground northwest, north and northeast of the Project. Both new complexes extend outside the Company's cut grid toward the west and the east. SM Extension 1 is interpreted to be 190 m thick and is characterized with a basal section of gabbro overlaid by a succession of pyroxenite facies. Three massive chromite layers totaling 6 m mark geological boundaries between some pyroxenite facies, the pyroxenite package and the basal gabbro. Dr. Christian Picard, Professor at the University of Franche Comte in France and specialist in mafic and ultramafic complexes with associated mineralization, visited the Project area earlier this month. The Company, University of Cocody in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, and the University of Franche Comte are jointly sponsoring a three-year PhD study conducted by one of the Company's Ivorian geologists. The study will focus on mineralization and the genesis of these important complexes.

Down-hole geophysics, IP and ground magnetic surveys are ongoing at the Project. These geophysical surveys will support the Company's current exploration drill program aimed at delineating the extension of SM44-450250's semi-massive to massive intersection (Table 2, ref: News Release of May 31, 2010), as well as chasing the extension of the two newly discovered mineralized complexes (SM Extensions 1 and 2).

The Company is also pleased to announce that Dr. Phillip Mackey has joined the Company as its principal metallurgy consultant for the upcoming metallurgical tests on mineralized material at the Project. Metallurgical studies will begin mid-September, 2010 at the SGS facilities in Vancouver. Dr. Mackey, who has spent more than 35 years with Noranda/Falconbridge and then Xstrata, is the recipient of the 2010 Selwyn G Blaylock Medal of The Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for distinguished service in Canada through outstanding contributions in the field of metallurgy.

The exploration license hosting the important mineralized complexes also includes a significant amount of nickel-cobalt rich laterite material, known as the Sipilou South laterite deposit, located 5 km northwest of Samapleu main deposit. Approximately 50% of the Sipilou South Ni-Co laterite deposit extends into exploration license. Laterite material grading between 1.2% to 2.04% Ni and 0.06% to 0.10% Co has been reported from previous work performed. Dr. Audet, the Company's CEO, was the Exploration Manager at Falconbridge's Touba-Biankouma project from 1994 to 1998. He was responsible for all drill programs at the Sipilou North laterite, Foungouesso and all other satellite laterite deposits within Falconbridge's project area, including the 1996 drilling at the Sipilou South deposit. Preparation is underway for a first stage laterite drilling program by the Company on an 800 m x 400 m grid.

The Project is a joint venture among the Company's 100% owned subsidiary SAMA Nickel Corporation (66 2/3%) and SODEMI (33 1/3%). The Project is located approximately 600 km northwest of Abidjan and encompasses approximately 775 square km. The area has excellent infrastructure with a road network leading to the Project and all required services available in the nearby towns of Man and Biankouma.

Drilling was performed by Orex Africa SARL of Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. Core logging and sampling were performed by SAMA Nickel's facility at Yorodougou village. Sample preparations were performed at Societe Gouesse d'Investissement, de Gestion et d'Entretien des Patrimoines' sample preparation facility in Gouessesso village under SAMA Nickel's supervision. Sample pulps were delivered to SGS's facility in Yamoussoukro and then dispatched by SGS directly to their assay laboratory in South Africa. Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures are of international standards. A total of 612 specific gravity measurements have been performed thus far.
